how connect to internet withour a router, i only have dsl modem and a hub

PLDT Bro, ako na btaw gi attach sa switch then di gihapon mo connect kinhanglan ba nag i configure nko ug balik ang workstation? nakan configure namn gud b4 gamit man gud ko ug router then nabuba ako router. Pero ok lang ang dsl modem ako g try using dial up.

I also forgot to say that the configuration i suggested was a DHCP not static ip once your PC have static ip address just change it into auto obtain. Setting up a home or small office network a instruction will guide you read every details then if you are in the stage on choosing what network device to act as network bridge choice the pldtdsl or the modem. After restart, on your PLDTmdsl properties configure the internet connection sharing just place check on the box. Then on your my network place properties you will see additional icon (that is the network bridge) also go to command promp type ipconfig it will display your ethernet ip address 192.168.0.1 while on the other computer just release and renew the ethernet ip.
Take note: boot first the host before the client.

reset the dsl modem, make it as modem router. once u make it as modem router u can connect your modem into the hub

just got a dsl (pldt) connection to my home, finally.

i'm having problems with getting dhcp replies from the isp to my personal router. i tried to configure its ethernet interface to have ip address negotiated but it just doesn't work. my pcs gets dhcp'd.

i'm also trying to share the connection to my other pc. i'm wondering if what i'm doing is possible? it should be, i guess.

Naka NAT imo modem bro Ridney? As far as i know, residential DSL is done via PPoE.
