i'm currently doing a evaluation/torture test on OCZ Vendetta2 & PC Power & Cooling 750W Silencer Crossfire Edition for a good friend who will be carrying these two products in there product line soon...so far the Vendetta2 is ok...i would say slightly better than my Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro, but its not yet up there with the big boys...TRUE/Tuniq etc. the Vendetta2 has the same design as that of the Sigmatek...

Honestly if you are not going to OC then you dont need to buy expensive aftermarket heatsinks like the TRUE. Cheap HSF like the AC Freezer 7 Pro would do the job just fine. Also, the stock intel cooler for quad cores is also fine but a bit noisy.
I'm assuming that the reason why the guys advised you to get a better cooler is that you are going to OC or you have a good overclocking motherboard?
