para nako mao ni ang significant differences sa SATA og IDE...

1.) thin cable and point to point (walay master slave og dili gubot tanawon sa sulod sa case)
2.) future proofing
3.) sure support for RAID setup... (i'm not sure if all mobos support IDE RAID)

but in terms of capacity and speed......................... almost the same... a SATA HD would not be any faster then IDE in real world performance provided they have the same hard drive RPM...

wala jud nako na notice ang difference in terms of loading times and file transfer speed... kung naa man, dili jud ma notice in real world apps...

suwayi ang scsi hdd 10k-15k rpm got 5 chained together in my setup 2-18gb,2-9gb,1 fujitsu 73gb kusog kaayo.

Mga Bro. I am new in this forum... Naa ko problema I have this SATA 80 GB hard disk unya naa didto ako OS then I want to use my IDE HD 80 GB pero back up storage lang siyapara sa ako uban nga mga files, ang nahitabo is bisan e slave nako or e master and IDE still mo boot ragihapon sa IDE mo display siya ug disk boot error. Unsaon nako ni para mo boot siya properly sa SATA nga HD nako which is tua didto ang OS? Please help me.
