THe Australian Harvest Rolled Oats package is brown I think. They also have rolled oats sa Healthy Options. ANg sa Quaker choose the one nga traditional ( you will know kay it takes at least 15 minutes to cook).
I enjoy my rolled oats with some (half teaspoon) condensed milk (I know its high in sugar but limited ra man pod plus the fiber in the rolled oats prevents my insulin from spiking) and I sprinkle 1 tablespoon flax seed meal. The nutty flavor of the flax seed meal really adds to the goodness of eating oatmeal. (Flax seed meal for OMEGA 3 also very good to lower cholesterol - try to get at least 2 tbsps a day by mixing flaxseed with soup or other viands)
my morning is not complete without oatmeal. mine is the quick cooking variant but i don't really cook it.. i'd have a cup mixed with hot water, some milo, coffee and milk in one big cup.. murag kabo.. hehe
stir it and i just let it sit there for a few minutes 'til i'm done fixing myself for work... then when it's warm enough, i'd gulp my oatmeal concoction straight up! there's goes my breakfast and coffee.. hehe
