dili na sya makaguba bro, even on DDR2 modules, if you use DDR667 and DDR533 together, what would happen here is that the both modules will run @ DDR533. Slower speed wins.

sakto si AMD_infinium05...modagan ra at the lowest rated speed nga ram & dili na maguba. do not attempt any overclocking sa system kai it would stress the ddr266 so much especially if u would give the RAMS a voltage boost...

so far wala mn koy nkita na mo hang cya. two days nane nko gi paslak ang duha ka ram ug wla may problema pro kuyawan ko ane iya gi ingon na maguba ako PC400.huhuhu.. sure jd ha na di ni mabuga?

ang aim jd nko ngano ng add kog ram is to increase response speed sko pc.hehehe.. so ng expect ko na bigger RAM size, mas pas2x.. so ms hinay na nuon ne kay mo run mn kha cya at lower speed? sakto?

naa cya effect pero not that significant. windows will have more ram to work with and less disk cache.
but if you want more speed go for ddr400. since naa naman ka you can always replace your ddr266 later

dili mani pwede kai dili mana socket 478, e check ra gud imung ram speed, ang mu gawas ana is eihter 256ra or ang 512. basta socket 775, you must have the same speed and the same brand. Naka try ko using 2 1GB of different brands, ang ge read, usa ra jud ka 1GB so I ended selling the other ram.

But since you said na ang ram niya is already 768MB - Congratulations! dili ra na madaot. Ang ako-a lang kai dual core naman gud ka, you better match a beast with a beast.

basin ang imong isa ka RAM dili supported sa imo mobo. have you checked sa supported RAM list sa imo mobo? kay ang ako mobo naa man jud specific list sa RAM na supported. example: ako mobo musupport kasagaran sa kingston module pero naa pud specific kingston module nga dili niya supported.

mixing 266 and 400 is okey pero ang 266 na speed nag muprevail meaning imo 400 mudagan na lang 266.
