Yes, We we went to Kadaugan sa Mactan there were nos. of file SLR users.
Most of them were experienced, film is like a sniper gun 1 shot 1 kill.
Unlike Digital you can veiw then either take another shot or just edit in PP.

There's a group in flickr that uses Elan 7 probobly scan thru a film scanner so it ca be digitally uploaded.

personally, as a beginner in photography, naghulat gyud ko ug DSLR. sa una katong film pa, wala gyud ko kapursue mau sa photography kay mahal kau ang film.... nya pagpadevelop pa... mao paggawas sa DSLR, diha nako maphotography gyud.. hehehe! mas-ok man gud na Digital.. wala kau gasto... pero if kaya sa bulsa ang film, then why not.. hehehehe!

dili gyud ko kahatag difinite answer.. pero based sa akong background kay scientist man ko....hahahaha! with the present line-up of DSLR, grabe na kau ang image quality even at high ISO lupid na ang film.. nya digital man daghan kaug possibilities.. so for me, dili makaya sa slr ang naasa dslr... sa dslr naay mga image processing options nga wala sa slr like white balance, picture style (saturation, sharpness, etc..), High ISO noise removal, etc... hehehe!

based ra gyud ni sa akong nahibaw.an as a beginner in photography and an applied physics graduate.. pero i cant not totally say with 100% conviction nga mas nindut ang DSLR in terms of quality kay wala man gyud ko kagamit ug SLR nga grabe gyud.... hehehe!

pre, ayaw lang ibaligya ang imo slr. daghan baya ron gamit na dslr ... tinuod. pero theres a different feel to film gyud bay. in terms of resolution ... wala pay dslr nga maka par with film. ingon man gud sila nga ang regular film kay equivalent to 14mgpxls (unless naa ka Mark 1s d2). unya nostalgic pa gyud ang film ... drama. mahal lang kung imong ginamitan pang digital. pislit lang ki pislit. murag way kamatayan ang shutter ba/mirror. hehehehe ... pero film teaches you patience and discipline. way sama sa 36 shots nga 36 shots ra gyud. and the excitement of what your going to get. mao lagi ni ron ... hapit tanan gusto instant. unya instant retoke pa gyud (not that there is anything wrong with it). hehehe ... keep your slr. i still have mine. fully manual tanan ... its a russian cam. zenit. ug usa ka first gen autofocus nga chinon. external pa ang focusing mechanism. both 35mm. i still use it every now and then ...
