I think it's normal that people notice the 'sound/beat/music' first (after all sound travels faster than 'lyrics' lol) before their interest is piqued to 'care' about the lyrics.

Most of the time I'm like that however I had a different experience with A Perfect Circle. The 'music' at first, was weird sounding but constant exposure made me change my mind MOST especially when I read/listened to the lyrics.

So I guess it's either or and/or both? ♥

depende sa music kung nindot tuno - it usually covers the lyrics ehhehe - usually hear this from mga fast beat music mga R&B mga rap.. chrs ra jud mo sabtan nato heheh...

As for me sa all types of genre, music/melody and lyrics(kay masabtan man kung unsai gpasabot)

And for death metal lang, music/beat ra ko...kay di man klaro ang kinantahan gud. kumbaga sa alphabet letters "A-Z" man jud, then ang kinantahan sa death metal o unsa pa na dha murag steady mn sa "A". Naai "A-B", "B" ang chorus part kay mulahi..hehehe
