70k budget? then better go outside the philippines nalang.

4me Singapore is the best. Naa sila Sentosa Island. A theme park/hotel/entrainment island. Daghan ka matanaw ngadto. There is also a resort there with Nice white sand beaches. sa Singapore daghan pud ka ma shopping & Most singaporeans speak english so u wont have a hard time talking with them. Sa HK nihit ang mag english.

Then if you have budget to spare, you can always take the train padung Malaysia. so 2 countries in 1 vacation na inyoha.

if you want to stretch your bucks, 70k for two will take you to many places for many days in luzon. as you say, you have relatives you can crash with pa. since she's never been out of the visayas, the manila shopping experience will be enough to blow her away.

my second vote goes to hong kong, but don't expect to be able to afford higher end stuff & designer items, tho that doesn't stop you from going into the stores to browse and window shop!

@ EDGEGOWNS ... I strongly suggest trips outside the country like BALI , THAILAND , HK , SINGAPORE . Go to your nearest or suking travel agencies , they can accomodate you with your 70K budget , sobra sobra na siya actually bro pero manayming lang pod ka like for 20K per head , naay go offer sa una sa CRUISESHIP that would visit 3 countries which is THAILAND , HK and SINGAPORE . Sa SINGAPORE ka manukad ana and that would already include your airfare also inclusive of breakfast and hotels for the next 4 nights and 5 days . Naa kay sukli na 30 K .... spend it at HK NIGHT MARKET bro for shopping.

if next year pa....basin mahal na kaayo ang plete ana na time....if your GF ganahan mag shopping ug mga branded gyud, hongkong is the best place, but as mentioned if next year pa, basin gamay na lang mahabilin for shopping sa 70K, but if shopping for not branded, Bangkok is nice, barato gyud didto mag shopping, plus ang place dagahan pud masuroyan.....
