i dunno if thats really the case. basta kami, we had a chance to operate for two years without ICAC. voluntary step nalang namo to be a member last year.

well if thats the situation then, your friend should appeal wherever department he/she should ask for assistance regarding the matter.

Im surprise naka operate ka for 2 years nga dili ICAC member. Basin naa ka kaila sa city hall cguro? If not basin nag under the table ka sa ila. Kay ang ako friend, gi ingnan jud siya sa lady from city hall nga ICAC is a requirement. Gi unsa nimo pag kuha sa mayors permit? Legal na nga mayors permit kay naa man issue before ang city hall about fake permits bai. kinsa ang nag process sa imo papers kay didto mi mag duol niya?

i wont be taking your statements as accusations. after all, i will be looking at it and will be taking it as a comment.

well, dont be surprised. coz voila! we did operate for two years without ICAC. under the table? i cant do that. we used to sell computers. so we cant be snorkeling around for fake permits or any under-the-table say of yours. our accountant is the one who processed the papers. i ddnt even know there was actualy a fake permit scam? oh, there was?

if thats what city hall is implementing (compulsory membership), its not good. independent cafe operators should stand up to it.

i think ICAC should have free siminar on how to run a internet cafe business in the right way, free items like internetcafe monitoring software, assisting of taking business permit, layout or design of the cafe, discount on MicrosoftXP and etc... thats what im expecting ICAC should do.. if not. AMBOT NA LA .. CGURO na ngawartala cguro ini hira..

I wonder why wala ka idea about sa mayors permit nya you have existing business. Me and my friend went to city hall to ask about business permit. They asked her kung unsa nga business, then ingon siya nga Internet Cafe. The lady gaved her a lot of requirements including ICAC. We wondered what is ICAC, and she told us all that stuff. Its compulsery ingon niya nga tanan nga Internet Cafe dapat member sa ICAC because without ICAC certificate dili siya ka operate ug Internet Cafe. Tapos ni adto ako friend sa TESDA to look for that ICAC office. Ni inquire lang siya if what are the requirements pero ingon daw sa guy that she should attend a seminar with 3,000 pesos. Shocked siya kay 3000 daw for what? I dont know if my friend will continue her plans to operate a cafe business kay hasol kaayo. Bayad pa intawon siya ug taxes, then mayors permit pa, baranggay permit pa tapos ICAC pa nga 3000 membership fee and 500 per year renewal.

Kanang mga fake permits sa city hall, tinood na. They even featured it on TV Patrol and Balitang Bisdak a couple of months ago.

ICAC is useless... they can't even set a price ceiling.... that should have been one of their priorities if they want to be considered a useful organization.

ay nala nang ICAC kay pang warta lang na! I am a member of this stupid organization. They invited me to attend the seminar tapos asked 3k from me kay mao daw ang ilang membership fee. Dili na diay nimo ma refund, wala pa'y use nga organization kay as in they are just a bunch of SCAMMERS! I hope ipa abolish na na sila kay hasol kaayo ang mga bayranan. Imagine I have to pay 500 per year aside from this 3k membership. Sila gyud ang number 1 nga korakot sa Cebu. ICAC means korakot or holdaper!
