I have all their albums dude from When Dream and Day Unite till their latest.. and for me lang Awake was their heaviest.. sunod ra ang train of thought..

.. just like dieseldust, di na kaayo ko ganahan sa ila sound quality sa mga later works nila.. with the exception of train of thought..

for me train of thought is more on Thrash Metal technical prowess at its best... ala malmsteen.

Awake was more on Power Metal.. grabe ka heavy ang drums ni Portnoy.. ang voice ni Labrie mura Deep Purple..

That album has a shitty production...Portnoy's drums sound so thin and blurry..mura'g lata paminawn! lol pero heavy gyapon..sila2x na man lang gud ang nagproduce!

if imong i-compare sa Awake ug Images & Words bro, lau ra kau nang production sa TOT nga pina "raw" ang style...Para lang nako, d kau ko gnahan maminaw ana kay grabe ka alingisig..hehehe! I consider TOT as their worst album next to Octavarium

mas nindot mn gud ang pagka raw sa TOT bro...dli ko ganahan sa pagkarecord sa karaan nila nga mga albums, nevertheless, ganhan ko ato nga mga kanta pero try to listen honor thy father sa TOT murag nakabati nmn cguro ka ana...mas technical ug mas bug-at pa cya compared sa uban...MP once described this album as the most heaviest and darkest album ever kono..
