Madaot ang networks kung free, kay ang mga tawo mag spam txt. So I prefer na dili free, para ma value sa mga tawo ang pag txt, dili lang mag sige send og spam and chain txt messages and worse, mag send og panic txt

Yes. It used to be free when Globe was the first to introduce texting. Smart followed suit. When we were branded as the texting capital of the world, both Globe and Smart cashed in to texting at that time. To be fair also with the telcos, if it is free, quality would be sacrificed. It is better they have a fixed reasonable rate for unlimited texting like the ones Sun Cellular is offering and the Unlimited texting of Globe before where the one day unlimited cost only P15, two days P30, and five days P50. They increased it to the new rates now. I am not familiar with smart.
