there's a bill man gud to increase personal exemption (married w/ 4 dependents can have as much as P150,000.00 exemption, a total of P200,000.00 exemption for the whole family) so in effect they will also increase the tax rate. so those nga earning minimum or P150,000.00 below, wala na tax. those earning above that daku na kaayo tax...

i am monitoring this bill, and other that involves tax..

Taxes are the lifeblood of the nation. Without it the government will have nothing to spend for its programs and projects for the country and its people. The tax exemption to the minimum wage earners could be a great help to these employees especially during hard times like these when prices of almost everything continuously go up. It is hard to stretch a small salary from which a big chunk is deducted for taxes. On the other hand, for non-minimum wage earners it is also difficult to receive the monthly salary with big taxes deducted. Even earners above the minimum wage also feel impact of price increases. How I wish the taxes deducted are not that big. But what can we do? We have to do our duties too as citizens.

We have to remember that on top of the taxes paid on compensation (a maximum of 32%) we pay VAT on most of our purchases. In effect, our take home pay net of withholding taxes is taxed some more because of VAT. On top of that we have pag-ibig, SSS, philhealth deductions. Sa 100% nimong kahago maayo lang kung makalimpyo ka ug 50% And what do we have to show for all of this suffering?

I love my country, I want to see my country prosper, but continued taxation with no accountability on where our taxes go plus the rampant plunder of our national treasury, no reasonable individual would want to add to his suffering by paying more taxes.

para nako i.hold mga changes sa mga tax as of now until maklaro na jud unsa ila plan rather magdali2x sila og solve sa crisis then mapareha sa vat. kuhaon pud na ang vat sa gas n electricity. kay murag ang nation sugod na og crisis.
