How to protect pc from kilat!

only God can prevent kilat.....its us who is not carefull in planning our wiring system...
better put some lightning rod sa imong atop
sa akong inet i never grounded my system kay sometimes mo-loop nya diha magsugod ang pagkadaot sa akong mga units so sa karon floating pa akong systema kutob sa mohikap nga kwatans sa monitors or casing piti!

but we can prevent damages from kilat ...

bitaw advice kog mga 30amperes lang pra internet cafe or sa haus mga 15 lang ok nana cya...

but solve naman ang problem pra pud sa uban na makkabasa na istoryans..salamat!

try washington or kana dapit sa city hall nga hardware diha ko kapalit sauna nagbutang ko lightning rod sa antenna sa uhf radio
but not sure kung gabaligya pa ba pero nagpa-import na sila bisag unsa orderon nimo ila na tomanon, depende lang pod hinuon

Lightning arrester would be a good solution to prevent damages from kilat,
Place lang any metallic rod sa highest object sa imo balay , then i wire ni
padulong sa ground , just make sure na walay conductivity ang contact
between sa arrester and the object na imo gibutangan (usually antenna or canopy)

turn off pc..unplug sa outlet..

kaysa mag mahay na mo smoke ang pc

Lightning rod is the cheapest and sure fireway to go, surge protectors only limit to the devices connected in its outlet... lightning rod protects everything.
