In which part does educational purposes come?
Being educated of the minds of the majority.
yeah sakto jud ka cosplay. Being educated of the minds of the majority.
the reason why the thread exsists is because our country is slowly being sold by our corrupt politicians and if you heard the news, wala jud any actions ang mga citizen sa philippines. so we are asking our fellow countrymen how they feel if other country will buy our country will it be ok lang or not. peace bro
Peace too... I, personally do not believe that "people imagining such things are the ones who wants things to end up that way" so I'd have to disagree totally with junmar4.. but peace.. this is just my own opinion....

Here's some education for everyone. Kalayaan Island being part of the Spratly Archipelago is under territorial dispute between 4 countries: China, Taiwan, Vietnam and the Philippines. The Philippines' claim to the island group is flimsy at best, based on its discovery by a Filipino fishing magnate who wanted to create his own sovereign country during the Marcos regime.
Does anyone of you know which President's administration asserted the Philippines' claim to the island? President Ferdinand Marcos. Yeah, him. We've seen and read what that guy did for the "best interests" of the Filipino people and look where we ended up.
In my humble opinion, if the allegations of relinquishing our weak and flimsy claim over Kalayaan Island to the Chinese are true, then I feel it might be for the best. I feel that it's not rational to mess with China, it's a nation with 1.3 billion population and overwhelming military power.
Please consider why other First world governments stay out of this Spratley issue? Or are mum in regards to China's affairs. They don't want to piss off the Dragon and I think that's really smart of them.
[b]And no I don't think the Philippines is UP FOR SALE. If it ever comes to that, then guess we got to buy it back with blood.
