Thank goodness for this thread! Dang, isn't it annoying to hear his song "Para Sa'yo"? on the airwaves again and again and again?! Waaa! It's terribly annoying!

Calling Pacman as the "hero", that's stupid. Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid media people for calling him that. Pacquiao is a great boxer indeed. But calling him as a hero, that is insane. Just because he dedicated his fight to his country then that made him a hero? Stupid! So, if I dedicated my DOTA game to Philippines, then I will be a heroine? Stupid Stupid Stupid! So, let's do everything for our country then. "Oh, I should take a bath for my country!" Yeah, right!

It's pathetic to dub someone as "hero" who became the pawn of the bet in Las Vegas. Perhaps I should bet my life in Las Vegas to be heroine! OKay, let the bet begin! WTF!

People nowadays are clinging for someone to be called heroes. Too bad, the essence of becoming a hero/heroine is deteriorating. I just hope that whoever labelled Pacman as National Hero will not be disappointed. One of these days, Pacman's fame will be forgotten.

mao ning media sa pilipinas, wala na juy laing lingaw. naa ra gni ni sikat og maau tawgon dayun pambansang hero.. hala, naa na dayun tanan attention. mura ba walay professionalism. instead of focusing on important facts and hard news, ang ilang attention naa tanan kang PACMAN. pul-an sad ta uy.. tan-awa ra gud ninyo ang mga international news stations like CNN, NBC, etc., d jud ta kita nga mag ingana sila.. hard news jud.. that's what it's all about.. that's what journalism and news is all about. yeah, he's a world champ, but is it enough reason to give all the attention to him? ingana na jud ka dako iyang nabuhat para sa pilipinas? la nalang jud sila ka consider sa mga gagmayng taw nga mas dako og natambang sa pilipinas pero la intawn nakakuhag attention gkan sa media. i think sila ang angay matawag og hero.
