for drummers: if you guys want to specialize with genres such as reggae, samba, songo, jazz or metal or what have you, you can always go to youtube, just type key words like "basic songo drums" or "basic jazz drumming" and then pick the best lessons and then go directly to the profile of the person uploading the video and then continue your search from there..
That's usually how i go about it..
imagine, you can now learn note-reading on the net!!! no more need for expensive lessons!

all the information is there but the application and how its done is not. You need someone to show it how it's done correctly. You don't have to get lessons everyday....once a month would suffice.....depending on your level. It is also very hard to learn "reading music".....notes.... without the aid of the teacher. If you know how to read music....you can play anything....you can even play with the real pro session musicians.Originally Posted by CuJo!!!
