what was the last hardware or software you installed before this happened? whenever windows xp restarts and goes on restarting, there is a certain driver that failed to load or a critical error, it may be cause by video driver or the ram. you can also control winxp's behaviour when handling errors. probably, your pc is set to restart whenever there's a system failure.

but, also, i encountered several occasions when my pc restarted even if that option was unchecked.

Bia, anhi lang ko post kay I think this is a hardware problem.

1st setup
P4 3.0 Ghz
Intel mobo
Sparkle mx4000 vcard 128mb 128bit <--- I think mao ni ang naka cause sa problem
512mb DDR

2nd setup
Celeron 1.7 Ghz
Asus mobo
Sparkle mx4000 vcard 128mb 128bit
256mb DDR

Kung ang first setup nako kay ako e upgrade to sp2 kay mu ungot ra siya sa loading screen, ang akong gi buhat is wala nalang nako gi sp2, sp1 nalang para maka gamit ko. Naa paba ni siya chance na ma update nako ang akong OS to sp2 without changing any of the hardware?

Ang second nako na setup kay ok ra, ako lang gi post ug apil para maka compare kay pariha raman sila ug vcard na akong gi dudahan.

try update the bios, or use winxp cd nga diritso na sp2.

yup, u may try to update the bios, but it still is best to use a slipstream winxp sp2 cd to avoid problems. it is not always advisable just update windows xp to winxp sp2. i dont what the reason for this, but what i know is that you need to clean install winxp sp2.

dili diay pwede ma-test ug lain nga RAM? ask lang ko kay karon pa sad ko kasugat ug ingon ani nga problem. morag pwede ra man tingali. dunno. correct me if i'm wrong.

wala man na problem sa hardware oi... naa sa imo OS basin registered OEM na siya na CD installer so dili gyud na pwede gamiton sa laing hardware setup gawas sa iyang OEM ra gyud nah..... kay kung hardware nang problema ana inig boot lang daan mag kamang nah... nya naka initialize naman na siya kay naa man ka sa iya logon dialog box...try kuno load sa safe mode kung mo lahos bah.....dont try to update your bios firmware sah unya nalang na buhata kung maka successful login naka... basta WINXP na OS kay HARDWARE ug PROFILE dependent gyud nah siya...

naa lang ko pangutana if who ever are PC experts here:
1.Is there a possibility nga maau ang PS/2 port nga built in sa motherboard kung dili na ni sya mofunction kung pansakan sa Keyboard ug mouse?Gool kayo ko kay murag guba na jud ni..sus palit na sad bag o...pls i need your advices..
2.I had another PC unya ang monitor dili mofunction kung ako i on ang cpu even if connected na tanan...i did troubleshoot everything,all the connection was ok but still wa japon na ok ang monitor...nalibog nako unsa problem ani nya...

If somebody is smart enough to figure out whats my problem please help me...PROMISE tagaan nako textmate na guapa or I'll buy a drink for him or her...hehehehe

ans 1.) si ruelnov ang maka answer ani, dad-a lang sa iyang office ang motherboard. or gamit nalang ug USB keyboard and mouse.

ans 2.) try itaod sa laing computer ang monitor aron ma isolate nato asa gyod ang problem. kung mo ON gani then dili sa monitor ang problem, maybe sa memory ug video card. but kung dili gihapon mo ON ang monitor, try use another monitor, panghuwam lang.

keyboard ug mouse sa PS/2...mogana man ang Keyboard ug mouse sa lain na PC unit..so maybe naa jud sa motherboard ang problem dayon kung adto ko sa BIOS mofunctionman sya pero kung sa MSWord dili makatype pati ang mouse..

ako na gitry sa lain monitor dili gihapon moconnect....i think dili sa monitor nako ang problem kay ok man sya kung lain nga CPU....posible naa sa motherboard o vedio card ang problem...gitry nako open ,working man sad ang fan sa videocard...unsa jud kaha probs ani..wala man sad beeps na manggawas so it means dili sad sa RAM ang probs ani...pls help me guys...

kung ok ang mouse ug keyboard sa DOS then naa sa windows ang problem.

usahay dili raba mo beep basta naay problem sa video card or memory. panghuwam nalang ug video card aron ma determine asa ang problem. use ram diagnostics para pod ma determine kung problemado ba ang memory.
