The topic isn't even about that. We are talking about the Tiesto event. If you've got problems with trance music then go bash the house and trance thread under Music and Radio.

People have different preferences and should not be judged for choosing such, regardless of whether or not its the more popular choice.

You cannot compare FHM to DJ MAG because they are totally different and thus has no basis of comparison.

Last I checked, this was the Parties & Events thread and anyone can post whatever event they want to post here. To think I'm not even the thread starter.

With regard to why this event is hyped up, well again, let's just go back to the facts stated and the credentials of Tiesto. Though this type of music is not as universally accepted as other types, fans and music-lovers of this type of genre want to catch this gig because he's one of the best djs in the world, just say how you would be excited if you were a fan of for example, "country music" and the best country band was coming to the Phils.

Qualify what you are saying.... best DJ for trance....... Not the best DJ in the world....

Trance.... you need a mixer only for it.... there is even a software program to generate those trance audio to mix it with the music.....
