@SPRINGFIELD_XD_40: pre i have very limited knowledge when it comes to birds, although we have them in our backyard but its my father who's actually fond of them. i'm more into dogs and cats and my fishes, hehehe!
with regards to your plans that sounds really great, i hope to see them one day when your finished with it, i remember i once been into the philippine eagle sanctuary in davao and their cage there is really huge, imagine the how big the eagle is when it spread its wings and it could actually fly a little bit inside.

@ POTTERBOY .... kasayang ana pero can someone clarify to me that HAWK's or " BANOG " needs to be documented in DENR ? Bred ba ni sila bro or captive sa wild ?

@ DIVEMASTER .... I might have the biggest the cage in the world pero I dont have knowledge sa birds basta makabutang lang ug langgam is good for nothing . ANyways ... I am strating to appreciate gyud because I saw one when I was still living in the US sa usa ka theme park didto . They probably have about 300 species of birds and ground fowls combined and thats where I got the idea . Murag late this year or early next year ang possibility ani kay mo acquire pa man ko ug lote pod somewhere in the elevtaed areas of Cebu .

@ LAWNAHRENCE .... Ive been an ANIMAL LOVER myself but I limit only to domesticted and tamed ones . Hadlok na pod ko ug mga super exotics thats why I limit only to fishes ( KOI ) to exclude PIRANHA ( RED BELLY ) kay exotic man na , a couple of medium sized guard / personal protection companions in the form of DOberman PInschers and the ... BIRDS basta colorful lang .

try mga bird within the parrot family bai ky nyc au na cla, pwede ma tame and colorful sd ug dli sd exotic..
kung gnhan ka dali mo breed like in aviary, try sa mga small like parakeets, lovebirds, cockatiel, ug mga finches... nindot au na cla tan.awn sa aviary unya dali pjd mo breed...it only needs some nestbox rjd and cla nay bhala anah...

piso paman to sila brod pagbaligya sa amo unya itom pa ilang color ato. wala mi naghuwat ug taga DENR, kami nalang ni pa certify nila. ako man sad to uncle nag asikaso ato oi. but they do check from time to time kung ok ba ang mga birds. lungsod raman gud so duol ra ug mga balay. i cant imagine na after 2 years or so, mausab ilang color. white from head then may pagka brown sa body with bits of white.

pero kung bred ang birds daw, dili kaayo hasol ang DENR but if dagko na unya dinakpan, lahi cguro process ana.

our cage kay 7ft ang height and 6ft ang width and length. so far maka lupad man sila but much better kung dako pa kaayo ang cage. exciting lagi na imong project brod da.

Actually , definite man gyud na naay LOVE BIRDS , PARAKEETS , CUCKO'S , FINCHES and COCKATIEL'S because I know those species are within the budget . Parrot species if maka hunat na gyud say about 3 to 5 ka klase in pairs depending sa budget .

Maski ako excited pod ... anhi na nako usikan nako ang kwarta brod kaysa chics patyan pa ta sa aytong GS ( Grand SUzette ) . Medyo dako dako gyud ni akong plano kay plans to include man gud na if tings work well naa fish pond sa sulod with moving water and bench bench kunuhay where I can relax and bond with nature .

BTW ... naa nakoy gi sa-aran ani diay . I have to shell out 20K pair , breeding pair na kay more than a year old na . Its called the RED and GOLDEN PHEASANT of CHINA . Its gonna be one of the ground fowls .

Hopefully mahuman ni nako in the near future kay my plans to include also would be invitations sa lain laing bird clubs and they can view and enjoy the aviary for free .

BTW .... ako papa ni ni suggest na ilahi na lang ug mga " sub cages " sa sulod gihapon sa dako na cage ang mga predator birds like the osprey , pwls and " banog " or any birds allowed by DENR to be held captive and we'll never know for breeding purposes .

Much like the pond also , sulod siya sa cage but isolated sa airspace sa mga flight birds . I am still waiting sa lote lang gyud kay maki hitch ra man ko sa location .

nndt jd kaau imu project, mynta successful na.... naa sd aku kaila anah chinese pheasant, pair sd pro young pa lng pg.palit nya, pisu pa kaau, krn ky mga 8 months n2... ahm if butang ka finches bai kna gouldian finch ky nindot jd kaau, hayag kaau sa mata tan.awn pro hayag sd sa bulsa oi, 4,500 ang pair if matured nah.. hehe
