before you say dubai is the place to go.................

    Think about these issues:

    1. When the oil and gas is empty what will provide electricity to all the buildings, malls, hotels, and yes PALM island

    2. Where will they get potable water? Remember desalination plants consume lots of electricity... now there is oil and gas to powet the desalination plants. But when the oil and gas ran out where will the power come from.....

    3. Since Dubai is a dessert how will agricultural products grow

I would rather be in the Philippines when all the oil and gas ran out....

    I can still plant camote.

    I can easily have water.

i think exagge ra kau na ang dubai building boom... so yeah, they are building world class buildings and 7 star hotels and other massive engineering feats.. expensive kau ang pag build and operation ani nila and i dont think ma full og utilize ang spaces... pretty but i dont think ingana ka jd ka daghan american and european companies mu relocate or open sizeable offices there.

for one, it is still a muslim country... jittery ghapon mga ppl about terrorists.. it is arab country for heaven sakes... how easy ra kaha to fly a plane into the buildings or fire rocket launchers/ surface to air missiles from a boat or do jihad when all the surrounding countries are muslims... vulnerable sad na ang mga residents sa the world and the palm islands coz dako kau ang shoreline...easy ra kau for terrorists and kidnappers to land in some unguarded area and grab them.

so far, those things are mostly funded by the money of some rich oil prince/sheik... ok ra nila mag lose pa og money coz they can afford it pman.
