I also admire Jane Eyre (written by Charlotte Bronte)..she's intelligent, not so pretty, kind and most importantly she best describes true love toward Mr. Rochester..

agree with this one...Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte is one of my all times favorite books...

I also like Lestat in the Vampire Chronicle Series...strong willed and very stubborn, loves to defy conventions...
