I'm not in Globe.. PLDT ko mga master.. pero ok naman ang akong linya.. nibalik na ug kusog.. kaso lang I was worried then bisag pareho na gisulti sa akong amigo na naa usahay virus na makapaslow down ug bandwidth sa imong Internet. Thanks sa mga info mga master!

Guys, ako nalang i post pud akong prob. first time naka dungog. ang pldt tech maui ni-ingnon nga naa daw virus sa usa ka pc mao iya gi disconnect sa switch then the connection came back and ingon cya di ipaconnect balik kay ma virusan sad daw ang uban pc...

Yes bro. Virus, Trojan Horse, worms, etc.. could slow down your internet connection
1. First you should remove the virus using your anti-virus software in safe mode and with your internet connection disabled/disconnected
(I presume you have one already installed but if you don't have one, I recommend you install Kaspersky Internet Security)
I suggest you do it in safe mode to prevent any virus or trojan horse that are added to your start-up to from running, for this would be
difficult to remove them.
2. Clean the registry - you can use TuneUp Utilities, or Norton System Works to scan your registry for errors and delete them. Viruses,
trojan horse uses your registry sometimes (e.g. modify your start-up and services and add the virus to your system start-up, embed it
on your Internet Explorer and download more viruses from the author's site.)
