by accident i was able to came across this site and hurriedly sign in to join and answers all queries re our city markets in the best of my ability and knowledge. ur concern was way back several years ago...
its been 13 yrs since the fire gutted unit 2 bldg... and now im happy to share to u that its been Mayor Rama's trust to have it built (with in his term).
as far as the ambulant vendors is concern, i hope u visited carbon market now and see for urself the changes... we cannot irradicate them asap panginabuhi man na bai... but the government regulated them, making them part of the solution instead of being our problem. but with the new building of unit 2 soon to come we include them in our plans by allocating space/stalls inside the market. by that time no more ambulant vendors in carbon complex.
for snatchers, pickpocketeers its a police matter so better not answer it...
