yup... why do we really celebrate death anyway... when we should celebrate life instead! Unless we think that death gives meaning to our lives... (we talked about this is philo 1) -- quite shocking, though.

But usually, it's the famous that get most of the attention. Artists for one, the well known to be exact, arent spared of the scrutinizing eyes of men...

even their deaths become a big issue...

i wouldn't wonder why rizal would have wanted a "silent" death. But then, he just cant help it...

I've talked with Death,

She's a nice girl, with a cute ankh and squiggy on her right eye.

She says that we often times savor on the miracle of life, but frightened by the miracle of death.

She tells us how to live our lives to the fullest before she comes for us to take us on our final resting place.

hell, I don;t know the connection ,but people die, they've got a lifetime, to paint their lives the way they choose it. but sometimes, death isn't always kind to some people.

LIFE and DEATH, yin and yang, pleasure and pain... life is a continual battle or harmony between the twol
Between them, we find our own meaning... Only to realize we are but players in a neverending cycle...

But what the heck, ART immortalizes/ freezes a certain emotion or truth in a canvass or obra and
that- that makes ART sometimes larger than LIFE for some and for a time...

All they have is how we remember them like how we need memories to be strong and beautiful. Don’t look at it how tragic it was, we were not even there to fathom the core of their passion from love of whatever they were doing that ran by the time to be a way of life for it not to be painful that is eccentric to the common world, which never spelunking the nadir of human epitome.

yup... the artist today...

i tend to think that some of them unfortunately are and have traded that LOVE for security or mass approval.
In my opinion, this could be quite frustrating since you tend to think of a piece's marketability rather than how you really want it to be... like express a feeling or awaken a hibernating truth...
