That's the sad part here in Cebu - the difference between years ago and today is the availablity of good distortion pedals. Before, there are good number of DODs and Boss pedals you'd go crazy over in choosing. Today, you can never find one DOD pedal for sale in stores. All they give you are those digital effects and processors whose distortion sounds like crap. Though there is one consolation which is Boss's Metal Zone. That is the only Boss pedal that could match the level of crunch and aggressiveness which DOD's Death Metal has.

True..true.. not much choices na sa mga stores here in cebu.. actually suya ko sa inyong mga set-up da

I've been using the Ibanez DS7 as my distortion for a while now, with an Ibanez GAX-70 guitar with stock pick-ups.Â* Also use a zoom 707II as my effects processor, BOSS NS-2, BOSS PS-3 and a marshall MG 15CD amp.

EZRA, I was using a Marshall Jackhammer during my Persona Non Grata days.Â* The Jackhammer's tone is THIS THICK.Â* And crunch wise, it can make Metal Zone sound like a wet kitten.

Mao lagi... The Jackhammer got Balls pero di sab gyud sya ideal for lead parts tingali.. sobra ra sab ka bug-at ang tingog.Â* Tube Screamer + Compression/Sustainer, ganahan ko ani nga combo for pure lead parts.

OT: Jaan.. heard anything about Julius Tisoy? Unsa namay balita ato niya.
