good day peeps, i got another pc which restarts when i shut it down. what do you think is the problem here? im guessing it has something to do with the operating system which could be fixed by formatting.

it happens this way, when i click the turn off button, instead of turning off, the pc turns back on. any comments would be highly appreciated.

are you sure you're not drunk when you turn off the PC?? maybe you just clicked the restart button...

is this a joke? for your information i dont even alcoholic beverages. and before i post something here. i make sure of it. bali pud nang drunk. buta rapud kaayo ko if sayop pajud nang ako gipindot. and ive done it many times, if masayop manko ug pindot dili pud masayop nga everytime masayop. if i turn off my pc 10 times a day, do you think masayop ko ug pindot sa turn off nga 10 times pud?

maybe this can help..kindly check your 3rd party software..any observation after and before you installed a certain software that can posibly cause the rebooting of your PC after turning off..

I had a problem and cured it my computer kept shutting down in the middle of doing something it took me some time to find it but got there I am running xp pro and after replacing all components including ram and updating all device drivers in windows xp the problem was still there it kept hanging and crashing and shutting down I luckily found it when i installed nero7 premium at work and the computer at work shut down and slowed down. I removed the incd program but kept the rest of nero on and cured the problem.

ah, mao diay ni imo pasabot bro? i've installed the same microsoft windows xp sp2 to a lot of pcs unya wala bya pud gi control sa microsoft bro. this one i was just curious about the abnormal behavior ani nga usa ka pc nako and i was wondering if virus ang cause ani thats why i tried to ask here. pero i dont think microsoft is controlling it.
