@cali, would you recommend the LG brand over the Sony and Asus for DVD-writers?Originally Posted by cali
Sony, Asus or Benq ok ra na sila boss. samsung ayaw lang kay mu pili cd ako nalang gipang hatag ako samsungs.. Sony lig-on pud based on my experience. ako na ni gilabay mga 10feet nya nigaling ug cd and nayabhan ug coke and still in good condition pa cya. kung mu storya pa ni cya ni layas na ni.. hehehe![]()
i'd go for either the BenQ or the LG writers. in terms of media compatibility, i find LG more compatible with -R than BenQ but both perform well on +R media. in terms of feature, BenQ has an edge since it has quality scanning capabilities as well as SolidBurn which optimizes its writing quality.
either way, you can't go wrong with both![]()
Best bang for buck? LG! I currently have two and planning to get a third
Past dvd writers brands:
3 Liteon
1 Asus
All reflashed to higher model (Liteon) or brand (Asus to Pioneer to <I forgot na>)
PHILIPS ang partner sa BENQ..mao lig-on
You can't go wrong with the LG GSA-4167B DVD Writer. If you want Lightscribe, then go for the GSA-4166B model.
