@all: Citibank. I just found out today that they put my card on hold despite me paying more than the minimum amount due and what's
worst, it would take them two months to reactivate my card pending approval. And when I asked about the procedure to cancel my card, they
just said to do it via e-mail. There wasn't even an attempt to retain my account. I know businesses are cold and heartless SOBs (don't believe
their BS about customer satisfaction or caring for the environment) but I expected a little pretense on their part.
Anyway, I plan to cancel my card once I fully pay them. I'm currently comparing other offerings but BPI seem to be okay (free annual fee for the
1st supplementary card). The other bank's websites could use lessons in usability and navigation as I couldn't find the information I need and had
to e-mail them.
So my take, thumbs down Citibank. Boo! Boo! <as if they care no?>
