    Default Well....

    In as much as I would like to say something positive about Q, there isnt much to say. Dont get me wrong, Im not saying that its all that bad inside. I personally would never work in such a slave driven environment such as Q. However, I have heard a lot of thoughts and insights from the agents within my cluster who, sad to say experienced employment with Q.

    Working in this industry for well over 7 years now, I cant help but compare my current business employer with others such as Q. More so ever that Q is opening in Dumaguete (my hometown).

    => Q UNDERPAYS their employees.
    => Implementation of its rules and regulations are somewhat loose to not observed at all.
    => Management to employee relations are at an all time low (quote from one former employee: "ang mga butt kissers lang ang ma tagad dayon")
    => The accounts are surprisingly good and stable, however, recognition of the workhorses (the agents) hard work and perseverance go unnoticed.

    A whole lot of other reasons that I opt to no longer elaborate on.

    And yes, I know Im going to get flamed for this comment from those Q die hards in this forum. Im expecting "you cannot say that mainly because YOU personally have not worked with Q".
    Again, these are the experiences from the people who used to work there and are now working with me. Mind you, these are not isolated cases as there are more than 40 agents in my cluster who would all agree to those comments.

    Im not saying the company I am working with does not have problems, yes we do have similar problems.

    But in the end, it all boils down to the MOOLA. Yes we may have similar problems, but we get paid better.

    So, I would end this with "SURELY HOPE QUALFON DOES NOT F**K DUMAGUETE OVER LIKE WHAT TELETECH DID"

    To Qualfon. Thank YOU so much..it's kind of weird, but still thank you.

    Q was the 1st and probably my last call center company (I will never work on that line of job ever again). Though I agree to most part of what you said, there's one thing that I have to differ. I don't believe Q agents are underpaid. Yes the salary is low and depressing but when you say underpaid it means that you're getting less amount of what you work for, that's the part where I think you've got it wrong. If you had work for Q you would understand. Q agents are getting exactly the amount they deserve. The work is too easy sometimes it sucks and it's coming from a newbie. Most of your shifts are stress free except for the occasional ill-informed irate customers, irate QA's and irate Sups (shoutout to that gay guy who thinks wearing tsinelas at work is cool). Since you're from CVG, if ever you're going to work for Q which is unlikely, it will be just like you're doing child's play. It just doesn't feel right if you're given a high salary with that kind of work.

    PS. Just today I heard that they will be increasing their basic salary to 14k, though for those in dumaguete I don't think they'll be receiving the same amount.
