Greek dictionary: Filipineza = domestic helper (created offensive reaction)
Oxford dictionary: Filipina = domestic worker (created offensive reaction)
Desperate Housewives: Pinoy Doctors in the US = less credible doctors (created offensive reaction)
==== well, magreact ta ani kay these are our ofws...mga bayani gud ni.

SSS: Bisaya = less Pinoy (so u mean dili unta mo-create ug offensive reaction?)
==== aw, react ghapon ta, mga bisdak gud ta. nya after magreact, unsay mahitabo? ...

Over reaction that is normal everyday with Filipinos.nakabati lang kay sa movie natabo mao nga mas sakit. But sad to say and I hope this will not become an issue.Manileños calling all people outside Manila as probinsyanos,Cebuano calling Illonggos as Pis.t.But in Illonggo that means organ of a small boy which is a different meaning in cebuano.Illonggos calling Cebuanos as udong.Which means in illonggo ignorante. But here udong is a food.Philippines is a small country with hundreds of dialects that makes us confusing and racist.

it's ok to be sensitive man, pro leveling of sensitivity ang kailangan cguro.

kadtong sa desperate housewives, for me, higher level to cya compare aning sa sss

    now that's more like it...

as for me, slamming the SSS to know that they committed an ethnic slur and informing the MTRCB that it failed to do its duties...is quite enough...ma naay public apology or wala...pero mas maau unta kng naa. AND THAT'S NOT AN OVERREACTION...

now let's refer this SSS slur to similar situations abroad:

    (1) ATLANTA, GA – The Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), the nation’s leading Latino legal organization, submitted a letter to the Carroll County Board of Commissioners condemning Commissioner Bill Head’s recent statements using the ethnic slur “wetback” to describe Hispanics.

now this is similar to Pimentel's condemning of the SSS ethnic slur. too bad we don't have a Visayan Legal Defense Association....hehe

    (2) Health Minister Tony Abbott has been forced to withdraw comments after asking whether there were any Australians left in the Australian Labor Party.

just imagine, the health minister is referring to Cambodian, Vietnamese, Spanish and Greek Labor party members, implying that they are not Australians or lesser Australians....it's like telling you to "don't speak Bisaya but speak in Tagalog, parang Pinoy")

    (3) Whether or not a Village of Sloan board member used an ethnic slur against another trustee eight months ago is still not known, although the accused board member vehemently again denied at Tuesday's meeting his use of the offensive term. Village Trustee and Deputy Mayor James Niwinski was referring to the June 12 meeting in which fellow trustee Anthony Sisti accused Niwinski of insulting his Italian heritage on April 12 in the Sloan Village Hall parking lot.

kini gani ha nag-away ang usa ka village trustee ug ang deputy mayor tungod lang sa ethnic slur...

    HAVE A NICE DAY!!!
