You people know nothing. none of you were there and im not defending that man for his actions towards the Alcoy GK but questioning the integrity of the school just from a parent who hurt a child?

The news is so biased they make it seem like Alcoy was the VICTIM of this when there were faults on both sides. Ateneo talked trash. Alcoy talked trash. Who threw the first punch? the Alcoy GK who got the player in a headlock. Why is the news kissing his ass so much? He caused all of this. Of course it was wrong for the parent to beat him, much more with car keys. Alcoy GK should learn to control his temper, what a brat.

how could you say those condemning the act of the parent know nothing?! for those feeling know it all, remember FOOTBALL IS A CONTACT SPORT. sure violence is not an excuse for redemption of but the point herein is THE PARENT SHOULD IN NO WAY HIT A CHILD that way whatever the reasons maybe. at least the "spectator" who threw the punch to an opposing player maybe a classmate or a relative of a player (alcoy) but AT LEAST HE'S A MINOR compared to THE PARENT who inserted himself in the melee. I have been playing football since highschool even in college and even until now we still join this kind of tournaments and believe me fights are all but common specially in the heat of competitions. BUT what happened in those days is we settled our disputes (after on field fights) in front of school officials and tournament officials and we serve the consequences of our actions BUT there wasnt a time then that PARENTS or ADULTS joined in physically in our fights. ang issue diri dili man ang rumble or away per say but the ASSHOLE nga nag apil2x sa away sa mga bata. and yes dako kaau ni na blow to the INTEGRITY of the school kay mismo ginikanan nipalit sa gubot sa mga bata. parents should set the example and MAULING a MINOR is far from setting a good example. and kiha pa daw ingon sa ginikanan sa ateneo na player?! MGA BATA RAMAN INTAWN NA OI! as if karon pa sila nakakita ug mga bata nag away?! sports are supposed to promote personal confidence and values but mismo mga ginikanan dili gani kahibaw mo uphold ani infront sa ila mga anak. BOTH players from BOTH teams are the victims of this incident. BUT guess which team will endure the embarrassment of what happened because of one STUPID decision of an ADULT to play "HERO" and maul a minor. think about it. and then which condemning action is more severe.
