most of the time, men are only being uncertain of the future.. believe it or not, most of us feel less of a man when we kept a promise but never fulfilled it.. it hits our ego like right on the target.. so as much as we could, we avoid talking about "future" topics cz we don't want our girls to expect too much from us.. it's as simple as that..

if ALL men would keep on saying this: "we avoid talking about "future" topics cz we don't want our girls to expect too much from us.. it's as simple as that.." then ALL girls would really be insecure about the future of their relationship!!!!

When ladies enter into a mature relationship (i'm not referring to those teenage girls who dream of ending up with the man they have read in the novels), it doesn't follow that when they want to talk about the "future", they want to settle down right away. This is the misconception of the gentlemen. They think that when we want to talk about the future we want them to marry us. Men are afraid of talking about the "future" because they were thinking that we are expecting for a lifetime commitment right away. A mature lady won't do that. A mature lady would rather want her man to give the same intensity of commitment that she is willing to give in their relationship day by day. Because in this process, we can assess that if the man can be trusted in daily commitments, how much more for that lifetime commitment? Are we asking too much? The problem with men is that they keep on making promises or commitments they can't keep that's why there will always be ladies who would feel insecure. Another problem with gentlemen is that they won't talk about how they truly feel. And then they complain that ladies talk too much? The only way to silence us is by talking to us.


What i am trying to drive at is that if there will only be TWO MATURE individuals who would enter into a relationship..... then there would be no lady who would feel insecure....and there would be no gentleman who would be afraid to talk about their future.

Naa man sab difference sa gender roles bisan unsaon. Men are not as emotional as women. They're not as verbal. Women are more emotional and more verbal and expressive with their feelings. Dont dwell too much on mind reading unless he himself tells you what is on his mind.

Hmmm.... Lemme answer this the best that i can. Personally, I am the type who acknowledge men's superiority over women. (Although, I too believe in the equality of sexes.)...

Much has been said about men excelling in science, in social work, in politics, and even in literature. LITERATURE-! Given that, we can safely say that men too are emotional beings (though not as much as women). And with that, we expect guys to be sensitive (which is not mostly the case). The point is, in almost all aspects you do better than women (including matters of the heart!). And that's why we expect guys to be more sensitive!
See, you know when something is wrong with your car. But why oh why can you not even get the hint when your girlfriend wants something from you?

Here's a hint for na lang guys: if your girlfriend starts to act weird (like not talking too much as she used to, or having that blank/sour/bitter face, or is simply ignoring you), the most probable reason is that something is wrong!! It could be either because of you or of something else. But whatever/whoever that is, talk her out! Ask her, woo her... then you'll see that smile sweetly crafted on her face again.
