What Whoopz said is true except he left out some important stuff. What you benefit from brands is the ease of customer support. Unlike true DIY where you have to collect serial numbers, part numbers, and company phone numbers of almost every part of your computer, a branded computer requires less people to deal with. Dell PC might have parts made by intel, seagate, nvidia and what not, you only have to cal DELL if you come across any problems. Of course, customer support service quality also varies, most big companies are usually good about it, especially if you aid extra for added warranty.

well, in any case, a pc's the choice for me. i can choose how it looks, how it performs, so basically, if it's crap, then i have no one else to blame but myself. that way, it saves me a lot of arguments. ;D

DIY is the way for me, and for a few out there. you may call me a fool. but at least, i'm a happy fool. XD

for me pc ko.price over performance langko. hinoon if you'll try to see a MAC choi jud xa, looks palang daan, pero choi pud ang price. unlike sa pc pwd paka maka halungkat ug sakto n no worries. unlike sa mac na murag medyo kiwaw man kaau i hilabtan, sa price palang daan. ..just my thoughts.

Mac or PC... depends on the user.. its easy to buy a Mac(simple but expensive), easy to assemble a PC, a headache to buy PC notebooks(a lot of brands and models).. Im a PC and a Mac user... with all the new hardware and technology both OS's can run on the same machine, try triple boot with any Linux flavors.. but if you want respect ,power and elegance then go for a Mac (its like a Benz)... =)

MAC user ko forever. Why? coz its virus free and the OS itself is very easy to use plus mac can handle windows OS. cool huh!
