johnbond007 and guys,
kanang aso nga giingon ni johnbond007 nga mogawas sa filler cap, I think if it's what I'm thinking, it could be kanang gitawag ug "blow by" gases....normal na siya if karaan na imo makina.. pero if grabe na sad, di na sad na maayo....and usually kaning mga blow-by gases ibalik ra na siya sa combustion chamber sa imo sakyanan through a PCV valve.. can't explain it in details here...nya OT na sad ta...
this blow by gas can be dangerous sa imo makina in the long run kay it may contain oil and dangerous ang oil nga moabot sa imo combustion chamber.......so this is where the oil-catch can comes in...hehehehe.. I made one myself DIY!!! lain na sad ni nga thread dah...OT na jud ko.. sorry po mods

If it's driving styles we're talking about, only sure way to get the best mileage out of your current car and setup is to install a vacuum guage and drive around (accelerating, shifting) at the highest vaucum value possible. Or in layman's term, LAY OFF the gas and pretend you are stepping on an egg that will crack if you push it down too hard.
Trust me, this makes a lot of difference and it's NOT the same thing for every car. Depende gyud how you drive. Cause I normally get 1:7km on a 2.0liter turbo car, but if I apply the same driving style to a 1.3l NA car (which normally gets 1:10km) I only get about a 1:5km ratio.
Just make sure you also pay attention to the road while doing this hehehe

by the way, I remember johnbond007 asking about a way to test an engines compression, you can have that done at any shop with a compression tester bro. Mura ra na cyag tire guage nga i butang sa taoranan sa spark plug then you would crank the engine using the starter (but not start it) to get a compression reading. I had my test done at automekanika before I bought my engine to make sure dili guba mga piston rings.
