Why Cebuanos dislike Manileños?

Well, the main reason why the rest of the country hate tagalogs?... (My History Professor told me this one) It's because People from Manila think "the philippines = manila (only)"...

This has been going on since the time of the Spaniards...Eventually still is the same situation, up to now. You can even blame them for making the philippines what it is now today... Remember, it was people from manila who wanted independence after WWII (because they think since Manila has recovered, the philippines already recovered from the war, which was basically untrue)...End result, everyone of us suffered.

I think people from manila are nice, though some of them consider errors in pronouncing as "Nabisaya" or think that maids and boys are "dodong & inday" which are bisaya hehehe paita sad ani oe, pero i can't blame them because these are facts, daghan gyud bisaya ganahan mu adto manila magpa maid instead of working in their provinces.

but generally people in manila are nice when you get to know them na, its not about their dominance but merely CULTURE, its has been their culture saying "Dodong & Inday" because it has been a culture of our bisayan brothers and sisters from different parts of Visayas & Mindanao to go to manila and seek jobs as maids, boys and drivers.
