    what's the right term to use bah? cool off, as in ipabugnaw sa ang relationship? or call off, as in call off everything... I'm confused na nuon. For you pips, what's the right term to choose and why?

    "call off" is a rarely used term for calling it "quits".

    "cool off" is a very common term when both parties agree to suspend the relationship short-term, but then usually ends up breaking up permanently anyway.

    but if you ask me unsay difference sa duha, CALL OFF is more permanent, COOL OFF is temporary but ends up being permanent.

    to call off means to cancel..So you don't tell your partner that you want a call off - because the heck.. why do you want to cancel? To cancel what? the relationship? Ngek.

    So just use the word breakup and don't play with the term "call off" because it's not for this context
