Yeah, and am wondering if that is what some pinoy think of this countries, then what are those koreans who are studying here think about the phil.? Nah, nothing most of them think that we are fools that can be fooled agAIN AND AGAIN and again. Ask some of them. It hurts but its true.

Whew, such thing for us, discipline, ethics, and moral. so much to filipinos for having none.

I think our problems stem a lot from our financial situation and how unbalanced our social structure is.

I believe helping the less fortunate help themselves is the key. This does not mean that sila ra ang mu benefit... rather.. in helping them, they in turn contribute to our nation.

Example:

Educate the poor on family planning, create jobs by investing in the rural areas and introduce technology to make them more productive.


I think we should start with rural areas and focus on farming, fishing. It would also help if we can attract more foreign investors to these areas.

well...its sad but I have to agree that SOME Filipinos are undisciplined, unethical and of low moral. its because we all want a shortcut...one way or the other. Like for example, we want to get to a place fast...so we don't follow traffic rules. We want to have a good parking spot, so we park in the no parking zone because its much closer. We want to get our driver's license with no hassle, we pay someone to get it for us. Well, it can go on and on. If the government is not strict on rules and regulations on certain things like that then we would be more disciplined. Even in our schools they need to discipline students more.

Discipline the students, what a good thing. but.... the question is, are the students willing to accept discipline without the grudge? Look around, generation now a days if being reprimanded against simple rules, will get even for such an act. And count more on their heh and hah, plus a great number of lists for their rights, not knowing that they are actually beyond exploiting every right they got......

So much for discipline, I remember a saying that goes... " it is better to nurture a snake, than to nurture an undisciplined rake".

undisciplined- TRUE. wala jud disiplina compared with the japanese na on time jud. we have this, what we call the 'manaña habit'.. our 'better late than never, jaywalking-here and there... hahay...
unethical half true ko ani, i don't think Filipinos are unethical, slightly lang siguro.. Being a Catholic country, we still believe that we should not do harm to other people kay mahadlok sa KARMA... para nako Filipinos are sensitive beings.. though grabe lang jud kaayo mo LIBAK. murag naa pa sad ta consinsya gamay

low morale TRUE. daghan na jud kaayo notorious na Pinoy... with the top ten most corrupt Presidents... 2 jud sa Pinas.. hahahy... pagka ulaw.

pero i still believe that there is Hope in this country... and im happy that some Fiipinos are making wave internationally ba... Kudos to them. at least, i am not ashamed of being a Filipino even if given that above-mentioned.

well even if students don't want to be disciplined they are going to have to be. in order for them to learn on how to do things in the "real world".

And for Philippines being a catholic country...i don't think its really making a difference between other countries. we still have prostitution, people getting drunk and raping, betting, teenagers getting pregnant and the list can go on and on...its not very catholic now is it? and its no difference between a protestant country or catholic.
