1982 song "the sun and the rainfall", maybe you forgot about this song, try to listen to it again, my favorite DM song.
This song was written in the absence of Vince Clarke after his departure to form Yazoo with singer Alison Moyet. Alan Wilder was part of a second tour in the United Kingdom occurring prior to the release of this album, but he had not officially joined the band, and thus, does not appear on the album.

they're not just a good band but they are very influential to many bands such as KROQ, "The Killers, The Bravery, Franz Ferdinand, Linkin Park, Fear Factory, Funeral for a Friend, Lacuna Coil', Rammstein', Marilyn Manson, Sonata Arctica, The Smashing Pumpkins, HIM Coldplay, and Korn's Jonathan Davis was a big fan...

and even the Great Johnny Cash did a cover of Personal Jesus
