i still prefer Heroes of Newerth over dota and dota2. XD

graphics is of dota2 is like LoL which is slow and lame...

First off, I don't remember saying anything about dota being limited to wc3 engine. So if you can quote me on that statement that would be great.

Second, Dota 2 is still on its beta stage so who knows what changes will be made gameplay-wise when it will be released. But nevertheless, I personally think that Dota's gameplay/mechanics is already good as it is. Why fix when it ain't broken?

Third, while the graphics part may seem just for eye candy, this sure has its own purpose. Dota is already at its very peak, maybe even on a decline, in my opinion. So like any other business, Dota needs to breathe into itself a new life in order to transition from its decline stage. You may not consider it as a substantial turning point in the game itself, but it will certainly raise eyebrows(Nvidia anyone?).

Lastly, this game is the product of the developers blood and sweat. Getting their work stolen(by you know who) would be the last thing they would ever want. Valve solves that equation.



I am too lazy to search it up so can you give me a RELIABLE source stating your claim and also indicating that those numbers were unique ones and not multiple accounts?



You said it yourself. Why would a game that is yet to be released on the market win an award in any event?

btw dota2 isnt even in beta stage yet who knows maybe they'll have a similar mode like dominion in LoL

i was just asking about whats new in dota2 aside from the graphics? just asking if theres a new mechanic or gameplay involved

so what new can dota2 offer to an individual player?

what you posted was awards given by an unknown game site. But if you look at the official winners, wala juy mention sa LoL. SO if you're gonna use that as a means to brag, tarunga sad tawun imu source sunod. Arang arang pa ang Dota 2 kay nakadaog pa sa IGN poll where the winner is chosen by votes.

For sure Dota 2 will replaced Dota next year, Icefrog will stop updating Dota to 6.72c, coz Valve will convince Icefrog to jump all dota community to DoTa2 and with Valve/Steam handling the game mas wider na ang community especially Western People.

And for the Filipinos? I don't know kung maka survive ni cla sa payment method scheme. Most pinoys are stamby's, walay trabaho, studyante. I heard rumors that Dota 2 will be 300 pesos per month ang payment scheme like Starcraft II.

So its either mo stick cla sa 6.72 or mo evolve sa new system.

And other fact, League of Legends still is one of the competitive games in the market right now.

Bottom Line: If you want competitive games and higher chance to go to abroad to participate tournaments, I prefer console games aside from playing Starcraft II.

in the end ang mga developers ani nila ang adunahan coz no matter what we all still play their games may it be Dota, LoL, or Hon and soon Dota 2.. I my self play Dota way back kay amo trip sauna was to play custom maps sa warcraft but know look how far it has grown in to and made way for two more games. now im more inclined to Hon kay i like it. not sure about dota 2 but who knows if my friends play it i might play it too..

so lets not be skeptical about it and say this is better and than that. they all have their strength and weaknesses but what matters most is how it makes us gamers feel (fun and excitement) and how to keep the gaming community alive.
