1. She made sure that there was the Family Code written to protect the
interests of women and children. Dati walang karapatan ang mga illegitimate
children. Pero in the Family Code, nagkaroon ng legitime (share in
inheritance) ang mga illegitimate children sa property ng biological parent
nila. Saka there were provisions to help them prove their filiation (paano
sila related sa biological parent) nila. Of course, I've gotten into several
arguments before about the ethics and morality of these legal provisions but
let's not go into that.
2. She issued the proclamation creating the Constitutional Commission which
worked on the 1987 Philippine Constitution where they made sure there was a

authority emanates from them". I know... deep words but that's why we're
the beacon of democracy in this side of the world.
3. She was an example that women can be good leaders who can bring some

coup d'etat dati during sa term niya. Pero instead of being vindictive, she
was very forgiving. Ang reaction ko dati, bakit niya pinag-push ups as
punishment ung mga gustong mag-overthrow sa kanya, kung ako siya eh

Anyway, it was only years
later after studying our history that I have slowly began to understand the

After all those years of repression and extrajudicial slayings (or
"salvaging"), our country needed time to heal and in her words time to
forgive. Pero sana lang, kahit magpatawad tayo, wag nating makalimutan ung
mga pinagdaanan natin para di na iyong maulit pa.
