Because they don't want to have negative emotions, but the truth is we are living in a broken world, full of negatives. Even a lot of people testify that they have an experience dying and went to hell and live again, still others just sh0ke those off, that's because of FEAR!!

If your conscience is clear after reading this, then it's up to you.

your church or religion is the bank.
And the interest is salvation.
the coverage may include heaven reservation.

but what if the bank runs with your money?

do we have a spiritual PDIC?

no we only obtained salvation through the grace Jesus Christ regardless what church u belong. It is by grace through faith. A gift. Just repent and make Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. People never understand what being a christian really means until they experience Jesus themselves. I didn't understand it before until i did experience Jesus in my life myself...

Regarding the issue of faith and work. It's faith alone. Our deeds is nothing but filthy rags in God's eyes according to Isaiah and there are lots of examples how faith alone can saved.

But how can the world know if u have faith? It is through actions. The brother of Jesus (James) was speaking to fellow christians or "some who claimed that they are" who said they had faith and they believe yet their actions showed otherwise. He was devastated to see them still doing what the "pagans" or the "gentiles" were doing.

That's why he said what he said in James 2:14-26.

But this is the highlight of it:

"Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works."

Seriously, if you really love Jesus, it is very impossible not to do good things because making Jesus as Lord, from the word itself, means He is the master of your life hence follow His will and commands...
