kung ablihan nimo sa photoshop .. makit-an nimo sa histogram ... ang data kay more on the right side.
depende sa imong digicam kung maka view ka sa iyang histogram, ang data kay pabor sa left side.
maadjust nimo iyang exposure using curves/levels using photoshop and other photoimaging tools ... lahi ra sila term
pero ang idea the same.
mas maayo e post ang photo aron mahibaw-an kung naa pa bay chance e adjust. kay kung underexpose ug 2 or more stops kay grainy na ang resulta.
y man halos tanan post-processed with photoshop? question lang ...![]()
anything wrong with post-processing?Originally Posted by maynardmurlon

@pnoize2k8: question lang to ako bro...naa ba mo lain medium na gamit for post-processing aside from photoshop? naa mo ma-suggest?
if your shooting negatives... then you will be using darkroom with all the chemicals in it(makadaut sa kalawasan)... if digital and you want free picassa(user friendly) and gimp i choose the latter kay much more like photoshop... or use the software that comes with your camera...Originally Posted by maynardmurlon

good composition, i think kana left nga laya sa luyo is a bit distracting sa ako taste... it divides my eyes sa subject... and little bit of color saturation will make this image pop-out but if i go with the title then its enough... overall good capture...
mao rana i hope dili ko nimo atangan sa gawas... hehehehehehe joke

i believe this photo is captured with low-light source, as the shutter is 1/10 and the iso is boost already to 800 which is very awkward.
critic:
- composition would be better if the angle of shoot is lateral to the subject to show more of dead flower and leaves.

- more bokeh if pushed more open to f1.8
- manual mode / aperture priority ~ this shoot was taken with shutter priority
- have to understand the use of shutter / manual / aperture modes and when to use
Keith more flower shoots pleaseCHEERS!
now this thread is getting somewhere.... more! more! more!... i'm learning.... spread the word...![]()
Focal length, distance between focus subjects and background is also a factor for DOF.
I normally shot at F7.1 - F16 in sunlight conditions and I still get good DOF.
F1.8 is too low for me for portraits, I prefer F4 at 50mm on my Nikon.
Its' just my 2 cents
