Word I got is that Bogs Llanto gets the green light and we can expect him in the semifinals against UV. USC's quarterfinal opponent will be the winner between the DBC vs. USPF match on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008

Player of the Week for week 4 race is tight with Hermosa leading with 47 stats points in the lone USC game last week and SWU's Belande having an average 45.5 in the 2 SWU wins. Interesting to second guess how media will vote, but methinks they are leaning Belande

It doesnt matter who they face in the semifinals, mas maayo na lang sad UV kaysa UC oi nga grabeh ka harap harapan ang bias sa referees.

SWU's Alfed Belande edges out Sam Hermosa in Player of the Week honors for Week 4. Media probably voted for Belande by virtue of the fact that SWU had 2 games to USC's 1. This could have been the closest POW race so far this season. Hermosa had a total 47 SP's in the lone USC win this week while Belande has a 45.5 SP average in SWU's 2 game win streak that included a 58 point blowout of CIT. The other was a 82-59 thrashing of USPF. While USC's win over UV wasn't secured until the final minute. I think the quality of the wins also helped Belande win the award deservingly
