ako ba...i do wish wish wish that everyone will learn to speak better english para di kahiya-hiya ang iba.  all things being equal....intelligence, educational attainment, etc etc....baka matalo lang ang mga kababayan natin sa pagsasalita ng english.

i dont know if there is something we can do to drastically improve the english speaking abilities of the generation born from 1980-1990 (diri man gyud ako tan-aw nagsugod ang problem..mga leaders sa country at this time were nationalistic na wala sa lugar...sige emphasize tagalog) ....but we can always reverse the downhill spiral with the current kids....my son sus...malingaw jud ko...we all do our best to train him to speak good english...after all...the cebuano he will learn in school (inevitable).

i really do not believe that nationalism can be imbibed by using the Filipino language....ambot laaaaaaang...kanya kanyang opinion....

i am a firm believer nga if you read a lot...you get a good grasp of the english language...we should encourage our kids to love books...

ako T9 DICTIONARY naka-on sa cell ko. after all....i pay the same for "8s ok. gudnyt." as i do with "it is okay. good night." PISO PA RIN!
