Phils. will never grow unless (a miracle would have to intervene here) that they stop their ways:

-of relying too much on the government to the extent that they want the latter to provide their daily needs..we have bodies capable of working..jobs are a few BUT there are descent ways to find and create one (legally)..

-blaming the gov't for our poverty..yes, the gov't is corrupt and only-God-knows when will this issue ever die..we can never rely our lives entirely to the gov't...also, for the gov't to change their ways (another divine intervention needed here), that's why people seem to have no trust from them anymore..

-we lack discipline..simple rules such as "no jaywalking", "no parking", "bawal umihi dito", etc., we tend to break them..at least, by following these simple rules/regulations, we have some respect to our dear Phils.

the problem with us filipinos man gud is our attitude. we want things in an instant. we want things the easy way. if we want change to happen in the Philippines, the change has to start with us first. as for me, i am not gonna lose hope with this country. it is not an accident that we are here and why we are Filipinos.. God has exactly placed us where He wants us to be. read ACTS 17: 26-27

not quite sure of these.. respect is earned, not gained in an instant. i know a lot of these people who are not doing their jobs sincerely, in fact they're doing the opposite..

so sad but true that most filipinos are undisciplined, unethical and immoral. in small ways, we could still change. parents at home should start it by teaching their children good values. everything starts from home. corrupt politicians were once kids, criminals were once kids, drug lords.. etc. they were all kids once. if each and every parent has only done their part, the environment would be so good

Pinoys know: Saudi (aka OFW paradise, all mid-east countries are called saudi here), Japan (pinays become japayuki), Mexico (long-time BORING boxing rival), Hong Kong and singapore (first choice of OFWs), Korea and taiwan (because of korean soap operas, both are the same to the pinoys) and of course america (very very popular here and that is where all the whites come from...at least to the pinoy thinking).
