BTW, why did BlackBerry flop there? Could it be just lack of marketing hype in Asia? I personally find it as a very effective, simple and durable device.

And the Treo 650, is a big hit here and relatively flopped there. I don't see much of Nokias here. It is usually Samsung, Palm Treo, BlackBerry and a couple of LG's.

I have just read this from MACWORLD March 2007 Issue featuring the iPhone..

"Jobs also noted that Apple will release models with third-generation (3G) wireless-data-capabilities in the future-3G networks are faster than AT&T's edge network."

Page 58 of said magazine ..so iPhone it is? =)

meaning, it's features are more inclined to that of an iPod... hmmm...

stick w/ my k800i and will use my AT&T's phone upgrade discount when they have the
next gen iphon.
