Sampradaya bro? I belong to the Gaudiya Sampradaya. I believe in the teachings of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, who in his time has condemned the teachings of the Mayavadis. Give me a yogi who has defied this simple rule of material nature: For a material body, DEATH is certain. Naa bah? Has any yogi prevented the death of his material body? And the so-called yogis I mentioned about are the yogis of today, not of the past. A yogi of past ages would know that this material body is subject to destruction, and it would be more prudent to leave this material world and take shelter in the Supreme Personality of Godhead. So-called yogis, nowadays, would claim either of this: 1. We are Gods, 2. This world is ours to enjoy, 3. God is formless and is just an ocean of white light. I have seen only a few that actually teach the sunnom bonum of the Vedas: which is bhakti, Love for the Supreme Lord. What the yogis of today is after is either mukti, liberation, or bhukti, material sense enjoyment. That is the difference that I am speaking of.

Don't mention about sampradayas bro like you think I don't know them. Wew.

Yes. God is the reason why we're here.

If you can understand the complexity of life, and of the world..then makaingon jud ka, God is Almighty.

Sa mga pessimists, instead of looking at the world with negativity try looking at it in a different perspective. It might surprise you

I said you are in the wrong sampradaya not that you don't know anything about it.

why would a yogi stop his death. Every yogi knows that this material world is a prison? however there are yogis that can predict there time of death.

let me give you an example of a great yogi that showed control over some laws of nature...go to Ananda Marga...ask for the life of Shri Shri Anandamurti be told to you.

dba BASIC law sa Material Nature ky for anything that is born in this world, death is certain? stopping the death of the material body and predicting when the material body would die are two DIFFERENT things bro. If a yogi cannot stop the death of his material body, stop getting diseases, then I consider that that yogi has never conquered material nature. They may be able to control some of the material nature's laws, but as far as conquering it, I have never heard of one. As for the Ananda Marga, I have dealt with them before, and their philosophy is lacking. It does not give me the happiness I have been searching for. They are close, yet at the same time, very far.

And for being in the wrong sampradaya, since you prefer the Ananda Marga, which follows the teachings of Sripada Sankaracharya, let me quote this verse, uttered by Lord Siva himself, [Lord Siva informed the Goddess Durga, the superintendent of the material world,] 'In the Age of Kali I take the form of a brahmana and explain the Vedas through false scriptures in an atheistic way, similar to Buddhist philosophy.' Padma Purana, Uttara-khanda (25.7).

And that is ordered by the Supreme Lord himself: '[Addressing Lord Siva, the Supreme Personality of Godhead said,] Please make the general populace averse to Me by imagining your own interpretation of the Vedas. Also, cover Me in such a way that people will take more interest in advancing material civilization just to propagate a population bereft of spiritual knowledge.'Padma Purana, Uttara-khanda (62.31).

As far as the ultimate goal in life is concerned, Sripada Sankaracharya states this: " 'Even a liberated soul merged in the impersonal Brahman effulgence is attracted to the pastimes of Krsna. He thus installs a Deity and renders the Lord service.' - Sankaracharya's commentary on the Nrsimha-tapani Upanisad.

And this is the commentary from my grandfather spiritual master, A.C Bhaktivedanta Svami: "Sripad Sankaracarya's propaganda opposed the atheistic philosophy of Buddha. Lord Buddha's intention was to stop atheists from committing the sin of killing animals. Atheists cannot understand God; therefore Lord Buddha appeared and spread the philosophy of nonviolence to keep the atheists from killing animals. Unless one is free from the sin of animal killing, he cannot understand religion or God. Although Lord Buddha was an incarnation of Krsna, he did not speak about God, for the people were unable to understand. He simply wanted to stop animal killing. Sripad Sankaracarya wanted to establish the predominance of one's spiritual identity; therefore he wanted to convert the atheists through an imaginary interpretation of Vedic literatures. These are the secrets of the acaryas. Sometimes they conceal the real purpose of the Vedas and explain the Vedas in a different way. Sometimes they enunciate a different theory just to bring the atheists under their control. Thus it is said that Sankara's philosophy is for pasandas, atheists." - Sri Caitanya Caritamrta, Madha Lila Chapter 25, Purport to Verse 42.

As for any yogi you may point to me, if that yogi does not preach bhakti, or love for God, then he means nothing to me, in my opinion. You mention Anandamurti? Then I point to you Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Search for his life and teachings, they excel more than the mystic powers so many people try to possess, but will ultimately lose at the time of the body's death.
