Maybe this should begin lang from the private sector...lisod na daghan problem ang govt to resolve...I love this sport, over hype lang ta sa success sa Azkals...

As if makatabang ning football sa paglambo sa atong nasod. Kung contender na siguro sa World Cup ang Azkals, kana, worthy na gyud ug football stadium coming from the government.

Better go to the private sector and look for people nga interesado sa football. College basketball did it so why can't football?

If the intention is to further promote the sport and find worthy athletes, why not do it to boxing na lang? Mas dako ug potential ang boxing and Filipinos are respected internationally as boxers and that has been going for decades na. Panahon pa nilang Elorde down to Espinosa, Velasco, Peñalosa, Pacquiao, and now Donaire.

Opinion lang ni nako... pero I find football/soccer fun to play pero boring to watch... whereas basketball is fun to play and a more entertaining sport.

I cannot imagine Filipinos lining up to pay and watch a soccer game in a local league here in the country. Maybe people will get interested in soccer once national pride is at stake pero for local competition i doubt it.

If the country is to build a stadium, might as well make it into a sports complex to house other sports such as those found in the olympics... why stop on soccer alone when the opportunity to improve the other sports is there with a new stadium / sports complex.

I agree on this. Mapuno lang siguro ang stadium if diri i held ang Asian Games just like Rizal Memorial Track and Football Stadium where dinhi gi held ang SEA games.

As a start since nibalik man ang enthusiasm sa Pinoy sa football, maybe schools/universities should include this sport. We can say nga boring sya ang sport kay wala man ta maanad unlike sa basketball nga basta naay liga magtapok daun ang mga tawo.

Bring back the enthusiasm and thrill first. From this, we will able to know if building a new football stadium is appropriate and useful. Parehas sa boxing ba, sauna gamay ra jud mangandoy nga mag boxing, pero sa naabot ni Pacquiao, daghan na ang ganahan mosunod sa iyang yapak. And ang naka add sa excitement sa boxing is ang pusta.

Lastly, we should not ask the president to do this. Daghan pa problem nga angay sulbaron.
