Hi N'gel, its alright i respect your views about the Chinese people. That's what discussions are for. For me okay ra. I love siomai oi. I love chinese food too. my clothes are made in hongkong or china, we even wear chinese sleepers for the house, our California state controller is chinese. In our city sa BXU, mga chinese ang naa sa chamber of commerce, the movers and shakers of our local economy....so for me, oks ra sila daku ug tabang. Sometimes we Pinoys are so full of pride and glory pero wala sa action. If the US welcomes all immigrants from all countries, kita mga Pinoy should also have that kind of attitude para mo progress.

That's not the thing ... it's what FM did. Chinese are of no fault and neither do any ordinary Filipino. I don't know about how much population were automatically naturalized... thousands. It could have took them years or inter-marriage with Filipinos unta before sila ma naturalize. Would have, could have. For me there really is nothing to be thankful about that... they benefited from my country... and I benefited from them? Perhaps... it's not pride baya. It's history and what molded the country to be what it is now. Traits and values matter, yes. Investors and kissing asses, something we're used to seeing etc. We're not the US who's got vast land area and plenty of opportunities to share, we are the Philippines, small yet populated by extravagant people.

Some prominent Chinese business icons admit that it is different to be in business in the Philippines. There's just something about Filipinos and spending... bisan walay kwarta naa gihapon sa mall tan.aw sine mahalon ug cellphone.

Halayo nga pangandoy naku kay ang Pinoy mo progress on his own, utilizing his own resources, learning within his sovereign... mao UNTA, dakung unta. Nothing we can really do about it. Istorya balang ning ato, hisgot².
