Yes na yes!
Since these folks are literally killing themselves. It should be taxed so we can fund their healthcare, should it develop into a more serious disease.

Ang mga taga call centers, maka afford raman gehapon bisan tagaan ug dako nga tax ang cigarettes...![]()
I greatly agree with the idea of increasing taxes and market prices on vices such as cigarettes and alcoholic beverages. These goods should not be priced so down that even children can afford them. In this way, it may probably lessen the number of people who'll be addicted to such vices which give us no good.
Basic necessities should be priced down while vices be priced high.
yes. it will only be exclusive to those who have funds for lung cancer.
sa mga manufacturer pwede cla mgbuhat ug gagmay nga sigarilyo pra mhalin gihapon. murag bulilit sigarilyo pra barato ba.
slightly agree with this because when someone who is addicted on these is craving for these, they will buy/get it at any means. This maybe create some undesirable things like more robbery incidence, snatching or etc just to fill their crave to the said things.
pero generally mo agree gihapon ko
There is no burden on society here as no money = no medical treatment. The only justification for high tax on tobacco would be as a deterrent to starting the habit or a motivating factor for quitting. However as a cash cow relying on duty the government then becomes the addict and will tolerate the industry indefinitely for the sake of revenue.
One of the biggest yet simplest issues I see is the availability of loose or single cigarettes which I think is totally irresponsible.
